I understand why Nintendo didn’t add bluetooth support at launch…

Post Body

I haven’t really seen anyone talk too much about this and if it’s been posted or discussed I sincerely apologize. The Bluetooth on Nintendo switch is pretty bad and I understand why. I’ve tested it in handheld mode, tabletop with joycons, and also tabletop with pro controller. I’ve also tried docked and in every case I experience latency and clipping and popping issues. I appreciate that Nintendo added this feature but it isn’t good at all. I understand the reasoning is most likely due to multiple joycons using Bluetooth and also the pro controller possibly causing interference. My question is for people who know more than me regarding the Bluetooth chipset and Bluetooth in general. Is the issue stemming from a weak outdated chipset? Or too many devices using Bluetooth at once? Also is anyone else having issues with their Bluetooth? I’ve tested with steelseries 3 Bluetooth. Apple AirPod pros. And Bose qc35ii. It works okay but I have to disconnect and reconnect a lot to fix latency issues and audio clipping.
