Fix your Joy-Cons!

Post Body

Hi guys,

I felt obliged to put this post up; I have suffered for months, and I have fixed that suffering very quickly and pain-free. I own a day 1 Switch, and my Joy-Cons started drifting about 6 months ago... I contacted Nintendo, and much to my frustration (here in UK) they were charging for repairs. Out of principle I decided not to pay £60 to get them fixed, and I have used my Switch Lite for handheld and Pro Controller with my OG Switch for the last six months.

I ordered a pack of 2x analog sticks with all the tools from Amazon for £15, and thought that I would brave the fix. I'm not particularly savvy when it comes to electronics, but it took less than half an hour to fix both joycons using Youtube videos for help.

TL;DR If you are putting off fixing your joycons yourself, particularly if out of fear for breaking them, don't worry, go ahead and fix them! It's easy and painless.
