Possible idea to backup save data

I was thinking would it be possible to hook the switch up to a computer with a disk imaging tool like a commercially available data recovery/ forensic tool to get a disk image of the switch? Would I be able to get saved data that way?

If this wouldn’t work why is that you think? Is it a hardware level measure that Nintendo used to prevent it from being recognized by a pc? Is it a software thing?

Some forensics tools are really good but I guess the crux of it is getting a pc to recognize the switch to begin with
