After all is said and done, the game is amazing. I bought a physical version to ensure resale, if I wanted to, and I can already say I'm gonna hold onto this one for a long long time.
I know the game is old and nothing new, but if you've never played it, like I haven't, and you appreciate the ease of Lego games, you'll seriously enjoy this game.
With full voice acting, the game really immerses you into the story. The minute details they decided to include in the game really astound me too. I was playing a mission just now were I was transporting someone in the back of a vehicle. While the mission is taking place, the voice actors are speaking. I had my car crashed a few times which ended up revealing the passenger in the back. When he started talking again his mouth moved with his voice. I was so impressed! If I had completed the mission flawlessly I wouldn't have even noticed, but the dev team took the time to emote the characters mouth even when I couldn't see it.
It's a seriously enjoyable game. The humor alone will make you genuinely laugh out loud. I seriously am finding myself cracking up at the silly puns and slapstick humor. Oh Lego, never change.
I know $60 is a lot. But I'm loving GTA... I mean Lego City Undercover A LOT.
