Tips for Cleaning pans?

I have the Ninja IG601 air fryer/grill. The air crisper basket and the grill grate both get hard stuck on debris that does not come off, even after the dishwasher. It seems like I'd need a wire mesh sponge to get it off but it says not to use hard scrubs like that because it will damage the coating. Anyone know how to clean this?
