Spoilers for 5th (I think) boss:

I've spent 2.5 hours on this bitch. I consider myself a great metroidvania player and I absolutely love boss battles in general (shout-out furi players) but I fucking hate this soul state or whatever the fuck chick. It's the boss in after you go through dream stage.

I love this game its super good and this boss isnt even that hard. I thought she was gonna be 2 phases like every other boss so far (if anything I expected the genetic modified boss before this to be 3 stages) but after an hour to think she'd be 3 phases....

I genuinely don't find the boss difficult or anything, it's just the fact that in the second phase two out of three of her people are fake and do not count as hit boxes which pisses me off. I've had attempts where I have hit like six or seven in a row and they have all been fakes and not the real one. I understand that the main version lasts slightly longer than The fakes but it's still is incredibly annoying to deal with. To my surprise there was a third phase. Albeit I was fairly drunk while attempting but like 2.5 hours is nuts. I will attempt tomo when sober lmao but was curious how many attempts it took anybody else to clear her?

Also one tell I found out in 2nd phase if people still struggling: the crimson move where she dashes across the screen, the real one glows green to tell you to air parry/down attack, the fakes don't glow green. This definitely helped me since you can totally ignore the crimson dashes if they aren't glowing because they're for sure fake. The clear I finally had was literally hitless (hours will do this to you lmao). Wish everyone good luck! Def one of my fav bosses despite the frustration, clear was tremendously satisfying.
