EDIT: Update:
after 3 days in a dedicated dehumidifier box, and some gentle coaxing and cleaning of the sensor and mirror, the camera is back to 100% function. No residue left, no missed focus, no strange spots, no leftover markings from moisture gotten into bad places. Definitely learned the lesson though.... camera goes as far away from lens cleaning operations as I can safely manage.
--------------------
My Nikon Df recently got splashed when a bottle of lens cleaner exploded near it. The lens that was on the camera is fogged up (currently trying to dry both lens and camera in my dehumidifier box)
The camera, had a small amount of liquid in the battery compartment when I pulled the battery, and was flashing a green 'memory access light' prior to being fully de-powered despite not having any photo/shot taken just before the incident happened.
From what I can tell, the Focusing screen is now quite dirty, and doesn't render true focus (so, I know I will need to get the camera serviced for at least that.)
Any other advice, information, help to give me while I figure out what to do?
I just got this camera a couple of weeks ago, only has 2700 frames on it.
