Upgrade a D3200 to a D5300 - Is it worth it?

Hi guys!

I have been wanting to upgrade my D3200 camera. I keep looking around and like the D5300.

My needs aren't that crazy. Aside from cute photos of my dogs, I mainly use a Tamron 90mm macro to shoot my hand. I do a lot of nail polish modeling for brands to use on their websites, so the macro's ability to capture fine details is key.

I currently use my iPhone 7 for video due to the D3200 not having a pop-out screen. I do a lot of video recording on my desk of close up application of each nail polish for Instagram to further promote for these businesses, so the pop out screen would be a bonus, but honestly, if I put my mind to it, I could probably rig something to make the D3200 work.

My needs are probably a bit weird, but they're specific.

My main question is: Is the D5300 really worth the upgrade? Will the detail in photographs be much of a bump up?
