Recently acquired the new ZF (such a beautiful camera).
I’ve been reading posts about people suggesting to pair it with a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
Upon researching I’ve noticed that the older f-mount AF-S 50MM f/1.8G is like 1/3 of the price compared the Z-mount version.
Is there really that much of a difference to justify the price? I know S-line lenses are supposedly more quality in their build but I already have the FTZ-II and feel like the cheaper option may be just as good.
Thoughts?
The z50mm 1.8 is amazing. That being said, I love the D series, but I love it because of its shortcomings. For me the G didn’t have quirky faults, it’s just not as good as the Z. I use mine in a z5.
