So after figuring out the mechanics of the QTE in the 1-5 challenge boss and having to use my PC, I can happily say I beat the damn thing. I had to do everything manually and time my burst at the exact time during the QTE in order to clear it. I also had to reset several times or "cover" for the laser in order to keep my Tia alive. I'm almost positive I'm not at the appropriate level for this but my team with the trial characters is strong enough. Long story short, good luck mobile players because that QTE is a joke of a mechanic...
