Brand new shoes with mismatched laces?

Hey yall, coming at you with a weird issue. I copped the Carmine 6’s mid-2021, from an ebay reseller. 2 weeks ago at a boutique in a local mall, I picked up the World Champions dunks. I have no reason to believe either of these are fake, but for whatever reason, both shoes have a slightly longer lace on the left foot. Pics linked below. Has anyone else ever seen this? I can’t find anything online and I feel like the shoes are gaslighting me
