No standard tickets in London?!

There is a single seat left within my price range but it is "aisle seated seat". Ticketmaster website wouldn't allow me to purchase a single seat, despite the fact that there are NO other seats around it, i.e. there is only a single seat left for purchase. Emailed them requesting assistance and they said they can only seat "aisle seated seats" in pairs. They literally replied to me (copy pasted): "the single seat will remain empty throughout the concert. It is impossible to purchase a single seat only. " WTAF?
