Hi, I'm looking to take a beginner-friendly acting class for fun to get better at it in the Lower Mainland.
In the past pre-COVID, I took a few workshops but always had trouble getting into the role due to the anxiety of performing.
There seem to be plenty geared towards professionals or people who have already some professional experience in the industry, but are there ones for beginners that go at a slower paced into scene analysis, pair you up with another partner(s) for accountability and to read scripts with to perform?
It's also been a long time since I took an improv course and as fun as I found them, I can't remember them helping me get into the role. It was more of a "you show up with what you've got".
Thanks!
