There is an office building that has a large, flat field behind it with a walking path, a basketball court, and picnic tables. It's used frequently for parties, cookouts, and there have even been weddings held there.
Thing is it looks just like a big open field with a 1/4th mile long asphalt path circling through it. Despite that does it not meet the criteria for a waypoint?
It was rejected on the grounds of "generic business", "natural formation that isn't man-made", and "private property". I'm sorry, but these feel like garbage reasons. It's a corporate office building's field, but it's large and open and isn't gated off. Even if it were, I was under the impression that the guidelines suggest it would be allowed.
I've seen way dumber things make it through the process. This is actually a community gathering spot. What gives?
