What aps (Free or Paid) have you found essential for your Nexus?
Post Body

I have had my Nexus for a few days and having read posts from here and elsewhere I thought it would be nice to complile a sort of list of our favourite aps that are suited to tablets/the Nexus 7. Here are a few of mine to start us off;

  • TED ConferencesFree - This has been a brilliant app for me. There are 1000 videos on topics from Music and Math to Psychology and Anatomy. It really is a library of knowledge and with speakers such as Salman Kahn and Bill Gates there is no reason why not.

  • Kingsoft OfficeFree - This is a totally free office suite that allows for creation of Documents, Spreadsheets and Presentations. I am not sure how nice the presentations look but for free what more could you ask for?

  • Tunein Radio Pro£0.64 - I was in the market for a new DAB radio, but now there is no need. This app can connect to a variety of local radio stations (Worldwide) as well as a wealth of Internet Radio stations. It also has podcast features (although I have yet to use this)

  • GTA3 10th Anniversary Edition£3.84 This is really a must have if you want to game on your Nexus. The game runs smooth as butter (as it should!) and the controls, although a little fiddly at first, work well with the screen size. I advise turning on analouge steering in the options for smoother driving ;)
