Performance boost on new update? Nexus 2012.

Anyone else get a huge performance boost after the new update? Mine would hang a lot even doing a simple Google search. Now it is much smoother and everything runs fast. Funny part is this happen after I bought my new tablet. It was a gift but still funny.
