Sooo... as a super loyal 6P user and lover of stock android -- I've had the 6P since day one launch. I had it RMA'd twice due to poor battery life. Finally, I was able to sell it to a friend for the full retail price I purchased it for: 749 canadian dollars. I added about 400$ to that and bought me a brand new Galaxy S8

I've had it for 2 days now and HOLY SHIT -- its fucking fast, no more TouchWiz problems, no stuttering, I'm actually enjoying the new layout, the plethora of features, and most of all -- wait for it --- the fucking ridiculous battery life. I leave bluetooth, location on and brightness at 60-80% and Im getting 6-7 hours SOT.

HELLS YAH.

now I get to enjoy a badass phone that'll hold me over half a year until the PXL2 comes out.

and holy fucking shit, this screen is ridiculous. It's just ridiculous.

PS. One of my main gripes was the lack of front facing speaker(S) plural. But this single speaker is not too bad, and with a case its not as easy to cover the speaker. And the speaker is actually louder than the 6P IMO. So it's something I can live with.

so, yah, its been great! good luck yall! but if anyone is itching to move from a 6P to a GS8 -- fucken do it!
