Random Reboots after Android 7

I've been on Android 7 for almost 2 weeks, on stock no root. Yesterday my phone randomly restarted when I was on a call. Today my phone randomly restarted when I was just looking at the time. I know that some people have had this issue with Android 7 and I have also heard that it might be a hardware issue.
Can someone tell me if it's just Android 7 or if it's a hardware issue/should I factory reset? I read a post, forget where, and the person factory reset but the phone still did random reboots.
