Having a different lockscreen wall from the home screen?

I like to make two versions of a wallpaper, where the lock screen is full colour/original and the home screen version is desaturated and darkened.
But the Nexus 5 stock rom is so stripped down settings-wise, I don't know how to do it.
I tried a lock screen app, but it changes the audio book/player control on the lock screen, when I'm happy with that part remaining stock.
Is there an app to add the options to settings, or simply change the lockscreen wallpaper without overly complicating things?
