4G TDD and FDD on N5

I have my nexus 5 on an network in Romania which currently supports 3G, on bands which my nexus does have. Later this year, they will extend their service to 4G LTE, on band 38 (2600Mhz)(TDD) . The Nexus doesn't have this band, but it does have band 7 which is also 2600 Mhz(FDD). Will this work as it is? If not, will I be able to change the phone's firmware to make it work?
