So 2 days ago I went to planned parenthood to get my implant removed. She could feel it I could feel it, she made the cut tried for about 30 minutes to get it out, and I'm glad she tried she did her best. But to no success she couldn't get it out. I got the implant in 2019, and I didn't even want it in the first place I wanted the pill, but no my mom wanted me on the easier thing. A birth control that can be forgotten about and not have to worry about. She didn't think I could handle the pill, even though I've been taking meds my whole life. So she convinced my 18 years old self to go with this option. And I had just barely turned 18. They didn't even give me the choice to think it over. Anyway I got it. Later that year I met my husband and I moved from Utah to Illinois right before the pandemic made everything go into lock down. Back too 2 days ago when they tried to get it out, the doctor said it's too deep and I'm gonna need and ultrasound to help guild who ever is taking it out next time, because it's too deep and might need surgery. And I'm in a different state that I was in when I got it put in. Now that planned parenthood can't get it out I'm worried about insurance and put of pocket pay cuz I don't know if my medicaid will cover this. I'm wanting it out cuz I'm having false pregnancys and my arm that it is in is always hurting. So I'm just hoping I can figure this out and that my insurance will cover it. This is just frustrating and ridiculous.
