Using Nexplanon after Depo? Side effects?

Post Body

Hi! Has anyone had experience with Depo then switching for Nexplanon? I was on Depo for 8 months, and changed to the implant mid August because the Depo was causing bleeding everyday. Technically I had my first Depo shot dec 2019, and my last shot in May 2020. For the first month of the shot, no period. Then I got bleeding everyday (moderate to night) except for when I took the shot (which has only been three times (dec, March and May). I could not handle all this bleeding so I switched to Nexplanon. I realize the Depo may still be in my system, but I am getting spotting/light periods everyday. I am also experiencing cramps and mood swings with Nexplanon when I never had that with Depo. Ultimately I just want this bleeding to stop. I have tried countless times to make an appointment with my OBGYN but it’s impossible to make an appt. how can I reduce the spotting? Should I wait it out with Nexplanon or get it removed (I used to have regular periods before Depo). I don’t mind the mood swings and cramping but I definitely want this bleeding to stop. I’ve heard about evening primrose oil, is that supposed to help? What can I do? Has anyone had a similar experience?
