Why two ASUS monitors (IPS and TN) are the same price?

The ASUS MG278q and MG279q monitors are TN and IPS monitors. Shouldn't IPS monitors be more expensive than TN?
I've planned on buying the TN model and I want to know if there should be a price between the two.
