Owning an electric car in Newcastle with no driveway

Anyone got experience of owning an EV in Newcastle but not having your own home charging point? I know the NE has the fewest amount of charging points in the country (shock horror) but just wondering if it’s doable. The whole thing looks quite faffy but I wonder if it’s just time to bite the bullet.
