Between Chris Young, Eric Young Jr., Lucas Duda (yeah, he played LF in 58 games in 2013 no matter how hard we try to forget those dark days), Jason Bay, Mike Baxter, Eric Campbell, and Jordanny Valdespin the Mets have given a whole lot of playing time to some really, really bad left fielders over the last few years. Personally I'm pretty glad that we can hopefully look forward to a half decade of Conforto putting up healthy numbers out there instead of the league-worst offense that we got from that position over the previous 3 seasons before this one.
