Hey everyone! So I volunteered to write the Islanders 30 in 30 thread but I really can't do it without help from some other Islanders fans. Hit me with some input! What do you want in it? I'm thinking I'll write what I can, but if I get some pieces from you guys we can make this a super-long, fact-filled, awesome thread!

I already wrote up a nice piece about the retired number players as well as something about the local rivalries, the current and future arena locations, and the current jersey and past fisherman logo. Maybe we can have some notable current players, important pieces of history (the management issues), or whatever you want. I'm pretty sure we dont have to follow the EXACT template of the other 30 in 30 posts, so we can add anything.

If you guys want to help submit anything, or even if you just have an idea of what should be in it, post it here. We have until the second week of August so plenty of time to make this awesome. This could be a great opportunity to teach people about our favorite team so lets do it right!
