By now I'm sure you've heard about campaign petitioning and getting Bernie on the ballot...but how is it done? How can I - an average New Yorker - be a part of something so monumental? Just follow these simple steps and you will be on your way to helping get Bernie on our ballot:

1) Print this bad boy out. It is the official petition sheet.

2) Find 5 people who are registered to vote as democrats (other than yourself). Ask friends, family, strangers. Whoever. They just have to be a democrat with a NY address. Also, ask them if they've filled one of these out already.

3) Have these fab 5 sign, print their name, and write in their NEW YORK address, including the town or city.

4) Fill in the witness statement at the bottom — print your name and address, fill in the number of signatures, and sign and date. DO NOT NUMBER THE PAGE.

5) Mail the completed petition by January 27:
