ok, let me first preface it by saying, i've done my homework, im uploading consistently, with decent quality videos, i've looked at what you need to do to get likes, views etc, so i have the catchy titles, the thumbnails, the tags and hashtags, my SEO score is usually between 85-90% (i have tube buddy to help with that sorta thing) and despite spreading my vids on the appropriate platforms (in this instance, as my videos are about scale model making and the hobby, theyre on scale model forums, facebook pages etc) so the right audience are seeing them, but im struggling to get more than 10-30 views a day, and i only have 45 subs, and i wont lie, most of those are from family/friends.
Similar channels, and even some with significantly worse production values, have thousands of likes and are getting 4k views in 6 hours of uploading, and im struggling to get noticed and to get the algorithm to suggest my videos and even get 30 views a day organically, as a lot of my current views are external from said model forums etc.
I'm doing everything by the book, so to speak, so how come im not able to grow my channel?
