Ad question on my videos that I didn't set up

I don't have my channel set up for monetization. But recently I showed a few coworkers some of my videos at work (not logged into YouTube) and I noticed quite a few of my videos have ads on them. I noticed it after a video hit over 10K views. Since I'm not getting any ad sense money, where does it go?
