Need advice re: multiple channels
Post Body

My YouTube channel has about 200 subscribers and I create primarily comedic content where I am in front of the camera. I create some horror related content here and there as well which seems to be working fine.

Now, I have some interest in making gaming content here and there. For example I made a video on rocket league and uploaded it to my main channel and it did well and I'd guess it earned me about 15 subscribers. I took note of that and made another gaming video which lost me 2 subscribers in about 2 minutes.

This got me thinking, should I have two channels? I love making comedic videos but I'll find they take me a very long time to make and I don't want to bother people who don't want to see them. I recognize the rocket league video's success may have been lucky and even though it got my channel some attention, the people watching me for my comedy likely don't want to watch the gaming things.

Thoughts?
