It seems like a lot of people are just playing the waiting game on this subreddit, and are content with just letting a year go by and then getting 100 subs. Another year will pass and maybe you are at 250, 300? I understand the snowball effect but if there is no marketing of yourself, you'll never grow as fast as you'd like.
So for the channels that have done this less than a year, and have close to 1000 subs, how have you done it?
I have two channels, one that we started in July and are almost at 900 subs. And then a personal vlog I started last week and already at 50 subs from two videos.
And i'm not talking about sub for sub or sites that you pay for.
