After some trial and error, I've learned that making my videos simple and compact, have been the most beneficial to me.
I have a very relaxed personality, so in my edits I usually cut out a lot of the gaps between commentary so that I can make my videos into one casual conversation. Add some relaxing background music, and add some fun edits here and there to make myself unique from everyone else.
This has saved me a lot of time, and I'm able to enjoy the video making process, and I'm starting to get more people watching my videos. The biggest misconception that small creators have, is that videos have to be full of edits to be successful. I guess it really depends on your niche and personality, but I would say, don't over exert yourself with edits, and just enjoy the process.
