Hey! Asking for advice here.
My yt channel is super new and would love some insight from people with more experience.
How can I fix this?
Most people leave before the 30-second mark, and at 1:30, almost only half are watching.
I understand that at that point they just don't like the video or whatever; I respect that. But what I don't get is why almost 30% of people leave at 3 seconds.
At that point, you can't even know if the video will be good or not. or if you will like it or not, I don't get it.
any advice please?
Can't include images of my analytics, I'm not too savy on reddit if someone can help me out will appreciate it
can't include links or even some phrases, what is this!?
I’m super new too (a week) and my view retention is very low too. My first video was 24 seconds on a 5 min length and my other one was 14 seconds on a 3 min length. Is it just people aren’t interested and click off of it? I think my thumbnails are good and people are clicking, I’m getting subs but with very low view retention. Maybe a more experienced YouTuber can comment here soon!

Wow I think that’s really good actually! Wow Aliexpress that’s awesome! I keep telling myself if we’re getting views, likes and subs then that tells us we are doing something right so I’ll hold onto that for now. Idk wtf people are leaving the video or whatever but maybe I’ll just have to get better with time. Good luck to you!
