Are Reaction channels better than commentary channels?

I have been doing YouTube for a while now without being successful

-I have asked some questions here on REDDIT about channel feedback, everybody always says the same thing: “I MAKE RANDOM VIDEOS”. “I DON’T HAVE A NICHE

Honestly I want to find a niche and stick to it until I have an audience to make bigger videos
Do you think I should make commentary videos on Interesting topics ? OR I should make reaction videos..

-I am terrible at Real time reaction honestly, but I heard reaction videos gets more views..

-But I have also seen some commentary channels get millions of views, but you need to be good in editing, scripting, 3 act structure, story telling etc… ( I am willing to learn tho)

And my most popular video got 250k views ( I made a commentary about a 1 year old boy who said “HI” people at target)

Channel is on bio… I Will appreciate everyone’s opinion❤️
