I’ve been uploading YouTube videos for years, but I never really planned on trying to monetize them — until a few weeks ago.
Will pumping out a bunch of videos in quick succession help? Do I really need to say in every video “like, share, subscribe?” Please give me your best tips.
I think some of it depends on your niche. I think consistency is key, I upload at least one video per day. I clicked on this post because I wish I knew we how to increase views!
I was uploading 2-5 long form 1-4 minute videos per day. Obviously growth was highest when I did five (but that’s really tough), and with one video that ran up to 13k views. Now I’m experimenting with one 8-12 minute video a day, and one 1-3 minute video a day if I get the chance. Plus one community post per day.
I’m going to use whatever method works best, for example I can tell a certain type of video I do does better longer, while one type does better shorter than edited into a compilation.
It’s hard to give any of these tips about your channel without seeing it or at least knowing your niche.
