Struggling to Turn Random Footage into Engaging Content -Need Advice!!

Post Body

Hey NewTubers,

I've been struggling with a bit of a content creation conundrum and could really use some advice. I often go out and film a ton of footage with my GoPro, full frame camera, and drone. I rarely have a storyline in mind when I start filming, so I end up with a lot of good footage but no clear direction on how to edit it into something engaging.

When I get home, I look at all the footage and feel overwhelmed because I don't know how to piece it together into a video that people will want to watch. So, I'm looking for two things:

  1. Tips on how to take this random footage and create an engaging edit.
  2. Advice on how to plan my filming better in the future to avoid this issue.

What strategies or workflows do you use to turn random clips into compelling content? And how do you plan your shoots to ensure you have a cohesive story? Any suggestions or resources would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!
