so here's a rundown, ive been helping my boyfriend with his youtube channel for over 2 years now. he has been successful with the gaming niche before and really wants his dream career to be making fitness videos. we have come a long way content wise, and has been doing youtube for so long so he knows what a good thumbnail/title looks like and how to structure a video. these past 2 years have been an entire let down, he dumps so much money into trying to blow up this channel (trips across country, equipment, etc) and has restarted so many times when impressions seem to stop. it seems that youtube just doesnt push out his videos to the right audience or doesnt push it out at all. we match other competitors, and have done ideas that havent been done before. just wanted to vent and maybe this will reach out to some people that feel the same way, thank you.
we just uploaded today and barely made impressions, we are also going to Colorado on friday just to record a video. (we live in new york lol) and it just seems so discouraging.
Restarted so many times, like new channels? I don’t think that is probably helpful, it’s like making the algorithm start over to find your audience
