I've been creating content for just a month now, but in the last 2 weeks, it feels like my content has been swept under the rug.
Despite using VIDIQ to ensure that each video has a good SEO score and is topical, I've managed to gain zero views.
Normally, it would make sense for you to assume my content is awful, but every time I post here, I get many compliments.
I'm honestly at a loss here, and I'm planning to keep going, to keep creating content, and to test things out...but this is very demotivating.
I just wish there was a way to know why my content isn't even being recommended through the algorithm. The videos' impressions are nonexistent, despite the title, description, and keywords being very topical/searchable.
I'd appreciate any help. I have one video on my profile, but if you want to see the others, just go to my channel page.
I’ve found that you really can’t get too caught up in views. At one point I steadily climbed to 8k views a day, then dropped back to 1k. Talk about a bummer. That’s just how YouTube cycles. That’s why I like to schedule days out in advance. Then the day to day analytics aren’t impacting how I feel about creating content because it’s already posted and ready to go
