I've been reading posts in this sub-reddit for a while and it seems most people have different and sometimes wild expectations of what they expect for their channel growth.
I'm wondering what people expect their subscribers count to be at on the following (time since uploading your first video): - 1 month - 6 months - 1 year - 2 years - 5 years - 10 years
My journey so far: I'm 5 years in on my channel, "Bob's Japan" with 11,300 subs. Here's the breakdown: - 1 month: about 10 subs - 6 months: hit 100 subs - 1 year: bumped over 1000 - 2 years: got to about 2500 - 4 years: got to 6000 - 5 years: hit 10k
It's been pretty interesting to see how subs have grown quicker as time goes on. And I'm happy with the numbers. They exceed my expectations if anything, as I never imagined to get to 10K. I enjoy making content and the community I have built are wonderful.
How is everyone else's breakdown and/or their expectations?
I try not to base my expectations on subscriber growth, but my goal is to get at least one video a day posted, if not two. I just hit 3k subs yesterday after 1.5 years on YouTube and consistently posting for the past 5 months. I’m super happy with it, hoping I’ll be at 5k by the year end
What’s your earning like with the 11k subs?
