I created my YouTube channel since 2012. But I couldn't make out anything from it so I gave up. 2016 I tried again and still failed, 2020, I tried again and saw a little progress that pushed me to 227 subscribers. But later still gave up. I started working 9 to 5 job since 2014 but fast forward today and I'm no longer seeing myself wanting to continue with the job. I started hating the job since 2022. I've thought of other things I can do before leaving the job but couldn't think of anything until, 2023, I decided to give YouTube a chance again.
I went back to YouTube again on May 1st, 2023. I started to use Ai to generate random video scripts and use Ai voice for voice over and then edit everything with capcut. Lucky, the channel finally reached monetization on August 5th 2023.
I couldn't contain my joy to have finally achieved that. But ever since, I've decided to study and understand how to really succeed on YouTube, although I've come to understand that there's no specific technique but it only requires your time and effort.
I can't really give enough thanks to all those that subscribed to the channel despite how crappy my videos are. But right now I've decided to dedicate myself to giving them a more authentic and a more professional videos that they can watch and enjoy. Which is why I've decided to quit my job and face my long time desire.
I've bought some of the gears I need and have left my job on Friday hoping to start YouTube fully by Monday.
I hope I've not make the biggest mistake of my life. Please I'd truly appreciate the words coming from this wonderful community. Some of the posts I've read in this community is also part of what influenced my decision.
Reading posts in this community should be an example of why you shouldn’t quit your job
