Hey everyone! Hope everyone's having a good day/week so far, as someone who's a very small youtuber I've been trying to do research and learn all that I can to make my gaming channel work, I've noticed however, that when if comes to let's plays( sorta the type of stuff I do on my channel) it's looked down upon, especially on this subreddit, I get it, it's oversaturated, or "low effort" as some might say, but quite literally all of the big gaming channels of today started out that way, dashiegames for an instance is still doing his game play videos the same way he always has, granted he had skit channels too but those don't really get worked on as much anymore, and other creators practically started out with letsplays before becoming what they are now, let's play is the best way to introduce yourself not just to youtube but to the world and one other thing, it's the best way to do trial and error and really find what will make your channel successful, it's a learning opportunity, that unfortunately gets looked down upon too much. Sorry if this sounds like a rant just wanted to point out an observation
Edit: I've read all of the replies here, I appreciate everyone who took the time to respond to this, even the ones that were a tad bit negative, I'm gonna keep trying my best.
But based on what I've read idk if my LP channel will succeed, but only time will tell I guess...
Edit: I think ima just take a break from reddit. Thanks for the responses
