its like a cancer this days and it really gets under my skin when i see some random dude/dudet , that doesnt even know how to speak properly let alone know what he is talking about , doing so well and getting so many traction just by playing others hard work and babbling like a rehashed pewdiepie every few seconds , its disgusting.
only original work/art should be rewarded hence monetized IMO ,because this shit right now reminds me of the response videos (i think that was it was called ) a few years ago that almost broke YT if they didnt step in to crack down on those in time.
EDIT: the title should have been more like "who else thinks SOME reaction videos..." , guess that would had avoided some of the hate for the topic , never the less i leave it here now.
Hey there, new reaction channel here.
I get the argument, and for every 3 good reaction channels there is 3000 bad ones.
We are trying to be one of those good reaction channels by adding actual good commentary, discussion, and genuine reactions to things we care about.
Me and my wife started the channel as a fun way to do stuff together and so far we are having a blast learning how to edit, dealing with shitty equipment, and having discussions with folks on youtube. We are new and super small (not even monetized yet) and we are already dealing with navigating copyright/fair use. I know it a touchy subject but our goal is certainly to be on the right side of it.
At the end of the day we enjoy (good and genuine) reaction videos and hope to one day be a respected channel in that niche, but 100% understand the frustration behind bad reaction content and creators who abuse it.
