Obviously we're all striving to hit that mark, but why is it important to you? Is it about getting monetized, or just the bragging rights in being able to say you've got 1,000 subs? For me, it's mostly about just reaching the milestone, but I'm curious as to what your mindset is.

I am currently at 3 subscribers, with 1 of those being me and the other being my wife. The thought of 1000 subs is so insane to me, but surely there are 1000 people out there who absolutely LOVE bad audio and even worse editing.
