Is every video scripted? Or are reaction videos still pretty loose?

Post Body

Hello fellow Newtubers. While I’m not 100% new, like someone who hasn’t worked out in a while, I get to try my hand at the newbie gains again.

Hopefully I don’t tear a muscle, but jokes aside, here’s a question for you all.

I’ve watched Mizkifs video over starting streaming, and although it is from 2020, it still shed a lot of light on something’s I was having questions about. I currently stream on Twitch, have a YouTube for my VODs and future variety stuff. My plan is to use that channel as a test bed for future endeavors.

I have recently created a review channel and simply need to get more content on there going forward. Anyways, enough exposition.

I’d like to try my hand at reaction style content like JacksFilms, CinnamonToastKen, or MoistCritikal , but one thing bothers me from the Mizkif video. He says you have to tell a story with each video, which is kind of difficult, but also that scripted content is king.

Should even reaction content be scripted, or is this something that can be more loose and free spirited? Like how Charlie reports on wacky news happenings.

Any advice would help, thank you all!
