I'm frozen by indecision about my niche

Post Body

Hey, folks!

I'm looking to start a YouTube channel, primarily for fun on the side of my career, but I need more clarity. I am trying to decide which niche to choose and want to avoid mixing them all and be a jack-of-all channel.

I'm in the gaming niche, but I want to specialize further. Right now, I run a small website that brings in approximately 20,000 views per month on a good month and focuses on video game guides. I could start a channel to compliment the site. Or, I really love strategy games and play them often; they're my primary gaming genre, so that comes to mind. But then, I've always told myself that if I were to start a channel, I would play DayZ and Rust because I always enjoy both games.

These three very different channel ideas would likely not work well when mixed.

I keep flip-flopping back and forth.

How do I pick a niche and just start?

A different perspective could be that your new niche is "listen to my sexy voice" niche right? haha
