Gaming Channel with Face Cam

I have a question. I want to start a gaming channel , not so much streaming but more like let’s plays where I record then edit and post it. I have an IPhone 14 pro max, is that good enough to use as a face cam or should I invest in a good camera?
Also if these details would help I plan on playing/recording on my PS5 & have a cheaper mic from Walmart. Would try editing through my MacBook Air (2020)
