I have over 500M views on my edited content with a ton of videos in the top trending page. I've edited for MrBeast, Cody Ko and Noel Miller, SypherPK, Preston, Unspeakable, 2Hype, and so many more!
I've not only helped YouTubers with content production, but also have done a lot of editing. I'm confident I can answer any question! I'd love to talk shop with someone and give some advice if theres anyone who might be interested :)
EDIT: I did not expect so many great questions! I am doing my best to make sure I give very detailed answers for everyone so please don't be discouraged if I haven't given you an answer yet. I will absolutely try my best to answer everyone!!
I’ve read all the comments and know YouTube takes time, but what time frames do you think are realistic? The FAQ in this sub says 1,000 days?
For reference, I’m 6 months in and at 1.8k subs but my watch hours are low, which I know is due to short videos, but I find it harder to make them much longer? I have seen steady growth and improvement with some videos hitting 700-1k views now so I feel like if I just keep going, eventually something will hit, but…
I know comparison is the thief of joy, but there’s a channel that’s very similar, and started at the same time. Their content is 0:30-1:00 clips with no editing but their third video got picked up for 500k views, and now we’ve watched them grow to 40k in the time we’ve gained 1k. It’s not disheartening because I’m mad at their success, but I know if those same viewers watched our videos they would also love them. But for the life of me I can’t figure out how to do that 🤦🏼♀️
