New to posting - everything needs Karma

So, I've had my reddit account for a while, and have found a couple of subs that I can post in, but loads of subs have filters that mean you can't post unless you have karma.
But if I need karma to post, but I can't get karma without posting, what the heck do I do. It's like the current job market, no experience, no job, but how do I get the experience...
Any advice more than welcome
