Today we finished our BSL skills lab of cardiac pulmonary resuscitation, rescue breaths and AED skills. We did thatfor adults, children and infants, as a single rescuer doing all 3 stages of high-quality CPR, than as a team in various stages of the responsibility. Everyone passed that skills lab, and everyone passed the written test. The very first day of class they all voted me as their class leader, and while I was nervous to take on the position, I accepted and did my best to get out of my shell to know all their names and talk to them, and to keep them updated on materials learned and whatโs to be expected next class periods and to monitor their performances in their squads, get there early to let the instructor brief me on the day so I can brief them. Which means I have to study more so I know how best to give constructive criticism. Iโm proud of them all and Iโm doing my best too. Next week weโre diving into anatomy and can sign up for ride-alongs. Here we go ๐๐ป
