Every time I go for a 50/50, I either barely make contact with either the front wheel or side of the board because I'm too close to being parallel or make enough contact to get a front wheel onto the object I'm trying to grind on, but because of the angle, the back of the board doesn't get to land or worse, I come in too harsh of an angle and go into boardslide. Every tuturial video I've found says to just ollie naturally without altering foot positining, pop, or sliding motion and the slide angle will allow you to naturally lock up, but I feel like without turning a bit I can't land both sets of trucks. Should I approach the ollie a bit like a FS 180 with turning it slightly? Do I just need to experiment with the angles more? What helped you land both sets of trucks when you were first learning 50/50s? Any other tips? Thanks in advance!
